Substantial rains in Kerala, Yellowish alert Appeared in 11 districts

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:” Widespread rains and sea incursion were reported in a number of sections of Kerala on Wednesday and governments have issued an alert to individuals living in the banks of water bodies. Except that the northern districts of Malappuram, Wayanad and Kasaragod, many areas of the remainder of the 11 districts are getting copious rains accompanied by strong winds because last night alerting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to seem the’yellow alert’ there. According to the Most Recent IMD upgrade, a yellowish alert, denoting the chance of heavy rain, premiered in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Idukki, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur and Lakshadweep. Shutters of all Kallarkutty dam in Idukki and Aruvikkara Dam here were started in opinion of significant rains. Authorities warned folks residing in the banks of different water bodies at Pathanamthitta area to be extra cautious because the water level was steadily increasing. Sea incursion has been reported in a variety of districts, such as Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Ernakulam. Uprooting of trees along with water-logging of low-lying regions were reported throughout the country.
