Mangaluru: AJ Hospital and Research Center has succeeded in carrying out the Whipple Robot operation at a 65-year-old man from Sullia Taluk, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Prashanth Marla K, medical director and hospital transplant surgery, said the patient requires a large operation called Whipple PD, which involves the elimination of several large organs and reconstruction.
