Nagpur: A farmer allegedly committed suicide in a village in Nagpur Regency in Maharashtra, police said on Monday.
Vishal Lakhan Bujwad hung himself from a tree using a nylon wire on his farm in Ghografia Village under the Jalkheda police station area, they said.
The 26-year-old cultivation went to the farm on Sunday, but did not return home.
When the cultivator did not respond to phone calls, his family members went to the farm, where they found him hanging from the tree, the police said.
However, the reason behind the extreme steps is unknown, they said.
The case of unintentional death was registered by the police Jalkheda.
