New Delhi: Sukhjinder Randhawa was named after the chairman of the next Minister of Punjab.
“All MLA named the main Minister of Sukhjinder Randhawa before the Congress High Command,” Congress Mla Pritam Kotbhai told reporters at Chandigarh.
Randhawa was the minister of prisoners and the Department of Cooperation in the Punjab government led by Amarinder.
In 2017, he was re-elected MLA from the Constitution of Assembly of Dera Baba Nanak.
Regarded as Lieutenant Amarinder who was loyal at that time, he was appointed in the cabinet.
Over time, Randhawa developed serious differences with captain Amarinder Singh and had vocal against him in ‘rebellion’ recently by the Head of the Punjab Navjot Singh Sidhu Congress Committee.
Recently, even though as a cabinet minister, he went to the media with a request to make the Batala a new district.
The announcement came a day after captain Amarinder Singh resigned as the main minister accused the insult by the leadership of the Congress.
Amarinder fell with a one-row resignation letter for the pre-empt that is widely seen as a step to remove it from the main minister through the meeting of the emergency congress legislative party held by AICC at 5 pm.
He met the governor less than half an hour before the meeting.
