MUMBAI: The Union authorities on Wednesday informed the Bombay High Court that antifungal drugs for curing Mucormycosis or black uterus was allocated to countries to a need-based system also there was not any discrimination against any condition, such as Maharashtra.
Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil Singh advised the courtroom that the Centre was providing anti-fungal medication to Maharashtra on a normal basis.
Even though Amphotericin B, the medication used for healing Mucormycosis, was in short supply, the Union government was trying its best to fulfill the requirements raised by all of state authorities, ” he explained.
