NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Thursday Registered a supplementary chargesheet from actor-activist Deep Sidhu and Many Others from the Republic Day violence Situation.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Gajendra Singh Nagar will definitely pass on the order on the verge of cognisance of their new charge sheet on June 19 at 2pm.
“The investigating officer of the case pointed out that the names of those witnesses that had been seriously hurt or out of whom the weapon had been captured,” the court noted.
On January 26, protesting farmers battled with law enforcement throughout the subway rally against three plantation legislation and hauled to the Red Fort injuring dozens of policemen.
The Legislation Branch is tasked with exploring the situation.
On May 17, it registered an 3,224-page chargesheet and hunted prosecution of 16 accused for example Sidhu.
Sidhu, who had been accused of becoming the important conspirator of this violence, was detained on February 9.
The authorities had accused him of the chaos in the Red fort.
