Supply of Indian coal remains a concern at Rajasthan

Jaipur: The supply of coal from Indian coal still has a problem that shows signs of the power crisis that subsides in the near future.
Even after sustainable involvement by senior government officials, Indian coal has collected supplies with only six of 11 garu according to the agreement.
“Coal from our mine (PKCL) increased to around 10 rakes starting today from around 7.
While Indian coal only increased once.
But we need around 19 garu,” Rvunl officials.
In total, the state is expected to get coal around 16 rakes a day from Wednesday against the requirements of around 19 garu continuously for at least one month, according to officials.
Subodh Agarwal, Additional Secretary of the Head, the Department of Energy, who is in Delhi to meet senior central officials to increase supply, said, “The situation has begun to improve now.
And we hope the supply of coal from Indian coal subsidiaries has increased further in the coming weeks.
“Demand for power has increased in the festival period which will require the state government to restart plants that have been closed due to lack of coal.
Recently, the power unit near 800 MW has resumed but now all depends on the availability of coal.
