Mumbai: The upcoming budget session from Maharashtra’s legislature will start from March 3 to March 25 in Mumbai.
The state budget for 2022-23 can be submitted on March 11.
The date was completed at a business advisory committee meeting consisting of representatives of all parties on Tuesday.
Because the pandemic began in 2020, this might be the first full term of the legislature.
Previously all sessions had been detained in a limited way because of the surge in Covid-19 cases in the state.
RT-PCR negative reports and a mandatory double vaccination status for all attending sessions.
Previously, a discussion was held to host a budget session in Nagpur but due to lack of facilities such as no central hall for the address of the governor and MLA Hostel was being used as a covid care center.
“Once again the government’s anti-vidarbha’s face is exposed today.
They only announced after the winter session in December that the budget session will be held at Nagpur, but they never intend to hold it there,” said the leader of the Devendra opposition.
