New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday stays on July 8 Notification of Gujarat government which provides clinics, nursing homes and hospital liberation until June 2022 to comply with BYE-Laws buildings if they operate from urban planning not in accordance with the planning of the city of Norma.
“You cannot cancel the command of the justice that is looking for compliance from all the norms by all nursing homes, clinics and hospitals by executive orders,” said the judicial bench D Y Chandrachud and M R Saha.
It also disposes the application by the Ahmedabad medical association that says closure that is not in accordance with non-obedient health facilities will close nearly 30,000 beds, which can be proven to be a disaster for the general public, especially when experts predict the third wave of Covid -19 Pandemics.
Bench said, “If the mushrooming clinic operates from the residential area without a fire out, fire security and without obeying the urban city planning norm is closed, it will save the patient from risking their lives.
