Greater Noida: Greater Noida Authority has decided to build three feet of waves (FOBs) to facilitate pedestrian movements in the busy Surajpur-Kasna Road.
This FOBS will appear in front of Surajpur Collectorate, Kailash Hospital and Gamma shopping center, respectively, officials said.
This FOBS will be built at the cost of RS 5-6 Crore in Build, own, operate, and transfer (boot), and the tender for the same thing is expected to be completed in September.
Work is expected to begin in October this year with nine months deadlines, according to officials.
FOBS will also have escalator or lift facilities so that the elderly, pregnant women and children do not face difficulties.
Three FOBs will overcome the problem of increasing footsteps in fields such as the District Court, GST headquarters and police in Surajpur Collectorate, and in front of the Kailash Hospital and Gamma shopping center in Surajpur-Kasna Road.
Narendra Bhohoshan, CEO of Gnida, said, “The project department has issued a tender for the construction of this FOB.
The plan is to complete the tender process in September and start working since the first week of October.
It is estimated that it will take around nine months to complete construction work from the three FOBs , which will be built with an estimated cost of RS 5-6 Crore.
“Because FOBs will be built on the boot model, the company chosen for construction and maintenance will bear the cost of its construction.
“In this substitute, the company will be given advertising rights for around 14 years to help restore its construction costs,” said BhooShan.
Local residents have welcomed moving.
“Crossing the road on these three points is pain because of the stretch of Surajpur-Kasna is very heavy in the traffic motion.
We welcome the decision and look forward to FOBS,” said Jitendra Bhati, a resident of Greater Noida.
