Bhubaneswar: Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari on Thursday raised the issue of school teachers of Mamita Mamita Meher at Lok Sabha looking for central intervention for a fair investigation in crimes in the midst of assembly and protests outside the involvement of the Minister of State for the house of Shankar Mishra in crime.
Pujari said he highlighted the legal situation and command “deteriorating” in Odisha, quoting four recent incidents including Mamita’s murder.
“Mamita was kidnapped on October 8.
He was killed and his body was cut into pieces.
The family suspects the Minister of State for a house involved,” Pujari said.
MP also said that in his home village Tura in Bargarh District, a youngster Dalit, Gobinda Kumar, was killed in police custody on September 24.
