Surge Covid Keep Ne States on EDGE, Assam Log 5,580 Case

Guwahati: There is no traffic jam in Covid-19 infection with most NE countries report a surge.
Although Assam recorded 5,580 fresh infections and 13 deaths in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health officials linked the decline in the number of cases with less tests.
On Friday, a total of 6,897 cases of Covid were reported in Assam after doing after 56,849 tests.

Arunachal Pradesh’s Covid-19 Tally rose to 58,803 after 532 people more tested positively infection on Saturday, the highest this month, said a senior health official here.
The northeastern state on Friday has recorded 449 new cases.
Of the 532 new cases, 181 are registered in the Capital Complex region, 49 of the valley in Valley, 45 of Tirap, Namsai (43), Changlang (36), Lohit (34) and Papumpare 26, State Supervision Officer Dr.
Lobsang Jampa.
One ITBP Jawan and an NDRF official was one of the new cases, he said.
HE Death Toll remained at 282 because there was no fresh fatality reported in the last 24 hours, said Jampa.
