Surgery: Kolkata Doc becomes a relative of women in POK

Kolkata: From NRS Medical College which is his house for more than a decade to Calcutta Pavlov Hospital where it is placed now, the journey of Bara Abdullah has been full of bends and turns.
It is believed to be from Pok (Kashmir, who was occupied by Pakistan), the 55-year-old child did not have anyone in Kolkata to call himself.
However, the city of joy did not disappoint him when needed.
Last week, Baro underwent cataract surgery in both eyes where the Head of the Psychiatry Department of Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital (CNMCH) became a guard and document signed as a legal formality for surgery.
“My eyes are still in pain.
If not, I’m fine and happy,” Aralia told Ti by telephone.
He had undergone surgery at CNMCH under the Professor beating Biswas, the head of the eye.
He was dismissed and shifted to Pavlov on Sunday.
Saved by the Diganta NGO in April 2006 from the highway in Contai, Barao, who was starving and ado was accepted at NRS Medical College where he was found to suffer from mental health problems.
It is believed to originate from the harchowal in Pok, all attempts to find their families and repatriates have failed.
He shifted to Pavlov from NRS in April 2017.
“He initially suffered psychological problems, including hallucinations.
During treatment, he had recovered well and only needed some medicine now.
Behave very well, he seems to be from a good family.
It’s very sad That he continued to live in a hospital.
But we have tried to make life easier for him and he has adapted quite well, “said Srijit Ghosh, Head of Psychiatry in CNMCH, who has been involved in Care Bara since the first day on NRS.
The Ward Academy in Pavlov, which functions under CNMCH, is now home to Baro.
The Ward Houses patients who are not cruel.
Baro who can read and write now speak Bengali too.
But the 55-year-old child still missed his family.
On Valentine’s Day, Hansi partner, former NRS nurse who has also treated Baro for 11 years to his retirement, visited him.
The partner bond with Baro continues and the former nurse visits him every week with food cooked by home, understand it with prizes on special occasions.
“He looked forward to my visit every week and I won’t disappoint him as long as I can.
But I will be the happiest if he is reunited with his family.
Even when he seems to have reconciled with fate, he still misses his family,” Partner said.
