In August, the city was in the ‘deficit’ category (41%) because there was only 114.3mm rainfall.
However, because of the busy rainy day in July and then in September, there is now a 47% surplus.
The IMD data shows that in July and September, 112% (379.2 mm) and 158% (228.2mm) Rain was recorded in Gurgaon.
Overall, this city has received 738.9mm rainfall this season, far more than normal (503.3mm).
Since 2015, this city has reported a normal or rainy deficit.
In 2020, it saw 507.5mm rain, which was 1% more than normal (503.3mm).
