Bhubaneswar: The train Ministry has provided a final location survey (FLS) from Newline Balalangir through Patnagarh with an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 Crore.
It was a long request waiting for people from Patnagarh and the nearest area.
New lines 100 km come under the East Coast Railway (ECOR).
It will have seven stations between Balalangir and Nuabada.
This is Hardatal, Churapali, Bhainsa, Patnagarh, Gambhari, Rarykar and Lakhana.
Survey Cum Traffic Engineering Introduction for a new line was carried out several years ago.
“The initial survey of this line was initiated by me in my last working period as Balalangir MP.
And 13 years later my request has been received.
Thank you sincere to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ashwini Vaishnaw train minister,” Balalanir MP Sangeeta said Kumari Singh Deo in a tweet posted on Wednesday.
Bajranglal Jain, a member of the Citizen Patnagarh committee, said they were traveling around 100 km to reach Nabanada from Patnagarh.
“But this line will reduce 45km.

After completing this line, people can save time and money while traveling to Raipur through Nabuada.
Now we take a long route to go to Raipur, “he added.
The citizen committee has held Roco in Balalangir in October 2017 demanding the laying of the railway between Balalangir and Nubada.

The train line will greatly help them.
Even Patnagar can get a connection to Balalangir and Nuabada,” he added.
He said the wellcas was a popular tourist destination.
