Letter: Three police officers from Police Navsari were suspended on Thursday after suicide two suspects of teen bike theft at the Chikhli police station.
Police Supervisors Navsari, Rishikesh Upadhyay, Discown Sub-Inspector M B Kamni, Head of Constable Shaktisinh Zala and Constable Ramji Yadav.
The three have brought two suspects, Sunil Pawar and Ravi Jadhav, to the police station.
“They brought two suspects to the police station and did not follow any norms or tasks they had to do afterwards.
So, because of their negligence, the three were suspended.
Meanwhile, the investigation has occurred,” said Upadhyay.
Pawar and Jadhav, a 19-year-old Wagnai resident in Wagnai Taluka, was found depending on the ceiling fan in the police station on Wednesday morning.
They last looked asleep around 5am but was found dead at 8 am when an sweeper opened the room to be cleaned.
