Rajkot: The opposition congress at Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) demanded to suspend physical education in RMC schools after four private school students tested the positive covid in a week.
Opposition leader in RMC, Bhanuben Sanii in a statement said that the RMC must take precautions, see the warning issued by the World Health Organization (WHO).
He also accused vehicles such as autos and mini buses that bring students to school not to follow Covid guidelines strictly and also do not maintain social distance.
However, the police, RTO and RMC closed his eyes on this vehicle, he accused.
“There is no meaning to close the school after a student tests a positive viral infection.
The administration must take action so that no students are infected,” said Sorani.
