Kolkata: BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari filed a petition at the Supreme Court on Wednesday, the Calcutta High Court Day issued a notification of the CM mamata Banerjee election petition challenging the results of the Nandigram Assembly poll.
Adhikari urged the Apex Court to transfer cases related to election to one of the high courts for the “end of justice”.
In his petition, Adhikari quoted a portion of the Chanda Causik Justice command while entering him from hearing the problem where the judge noted that “the chronology of the events” suggested “that accidental and conscious efforts were made to influence my decision before the reconist application was placed before me for judicial considerations on June 24 “.
