Tamluk: Suvendu Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday was removed from Chairman Samity Tamralipta Janakalyan, a socio-cultural body based in the middle of the eastern city who worked for the welfare of freedom fighters.
He has led the organization for the past nine years.
The move followed his transfer from Sanatan Brahman Trust.
In both bodies, Adhikari has been replaced by Minister of Soumen Mahapatra, who is also the President of East Midnapore TMC.
Adhikari, in addition to the post and the position of his cabinet in the development authority of HRBC and Haldia, has led some such bodies by leading three cooperative banks.
Movement without trust in him has been transferred at the Conti Co-operative Bank.
Financial audits have been ordered at these banks.
