New Delhi: BJP member Suvendu Adhikari filed a petition at the Supreme Court on Wednesday urging him to transfer cases related to election to one of the high courts for the “tip of justice”.
In his petition, Adhikari quoted a portion of the Chanda Causik Justice command while entering him from hearing the problem where the judge noted that “the chronology of the events” suggested “that accidental and conscious efforts were made to influence my decision before the reconist application was placed before me for judicial considerations on June 24 “.
Adhikari pointed to an effort to “influence” the decision at Calcutta HC as an excuse to request a transfer of cases related to Nandigram elections to other HC.
