Kolkata: A Omicron second suspect – a 76-year-old boy from North 24 Parganas Duttapukur in the back of Bangladesh through land border two days ago – is quarantined at a government hospital on Saturday after swabs were collected in Covid Positive.
Samples have now been sent for genome sequencing to examine whether he is infected with a variant Omicron.
