PUDUCHERRY: Officials from both woods and animal husbandry and animal welfare divisions required rectal and nasal purge samples from Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple elephant Lakshmi and also Tirunallar Temple Twist Prakriti Pranambika on Wednesday to examine them for coronavirus disease.
