Bengaluru: Swiggy saw a growth of 56% in food delivery income in the first half of fiscal (April-September) compared to the same period the previous year, the ProSUS investor said in the submission of regulations.
Revenues rose 91% from the pre-covid level, said the prosus.
Prosus, a South African consumer internet company with a food business covering 60 countries, said Swiggy’s income was $ 1.3 billion in the first round.
It was said that the gross merchandise grew 73%, with 70% order growth compared to the same period the previous year.
The Grocery Swiggy business, which competes with Grofers, up 75%.
The prosus has become one of the larger investors at the Startup India and Unicorn Space, supports companies such as the Mena, Meesho, OLX, Payu brands, Farmeamasy and Byju brands.
Payu, who bought Billdesk rivals earlier this year, saw the volume of total payments in India in the first round grew 70% to $ 19 billion.
Revenue rose 55% to $ 133 million.
