MUGELLO: Korean Moto3 Attorney Jason Dupasquier has died after an Accident in Saturday’s qualifying session of the German Grand Prix in the Mugello Circuit, MotoGP organisers said on Sunday.
Dupasquier had been airlifted to a hospital at Florence following a crash nine between three bicycles.
He had been treated with medical staff for over half an hour on the trail as the semester was red-flagged.
“Despite the very best attempts of circuit medical personnel and those then attending to some rider, the hospital also has declared that Dupasquier has unfortunately succumbed to his injuries,” MotoGP explained in a declaration.
“On behalf of the whole MotoGP family, we send our love for his group, his loved ones and nearest and dearest.
You’ll be sorely missed, Jason.
Ride in peace” World championship leader Fabio Quartararo of all Yamaha had committed his album in Saturday’s qualifying to Dupasquier following the wreck.
