Switchover buzz as Amarinder in Delhi to meet ‘friends’

New Delhi: Former Chairman of the Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh arrived in Delhi on Tuesday in the midst of an intense buzz over a meeting with BJP brass that might be a precursor alliance, even when his visit was called a personal “friend”.
The BJP source implies “strong possibilities” of veteran leaders, which falls in a dramatic way with the leadership of the Congress, appointed in the party.
The possibility of being seen by BJP leaders as a big boost for their prospects in the border state in front of the general election in February.
“Something is cooked …
everything will be clear,” said a BJP senior official who explained that the party was related to the previous cm.
There was a chance before when Singh was reportedly related to BJP, especially before Lok Sabha’s polls 2019, but the movement did not produce a sense, partly because the BJP alliance with acely now ended.
As soon as Singh left Chandigarh for Delhi, speculation about the meeting with Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda began to do a round.
He also told reporters at Chandigarh that he would meet Shah, who was later dubbed the meeting of the Covid situation in Punjab.
There was no confirmation of the meeting until the end of Tuesday; The source said it could take place on Wednesday.
Speculative reports do not die even though Raveen Thukral, Singh’s media advisor, said the leader made a personal visit to Delhi.
“Too much read into the visit of Amarinder Singh to Delhi.
He is in a personal visit, where he will meet some friends and also empty the house of the Kapurthala for the new CM.
There is no need for unnecessary speculation,” he said.
Ask about his next action, Thukral said it would be the hope of supporters and followers and “all open options”.
The BJP source, however, confirmed that Singh, a former army officer, and who was view of the calculation of national security with the party, the possibility of joining the fold of turmeric.
There will be a strong opposition problem with the new agricultural law, but BJP functionaries feel suitable formulations can be found.
Singh, on his side, can get party apparatus and party resources for elections.
Even they said, if he recommends the dissolution of the Punjab, a partnership will occur faster.
Singh recently resigned with less than five months to carry out assembly elections after a bitter fight with Bete Noir Navjot Singh Sidhu – which, was quite ironic, stopped when the head of the punjab party on Tuesday – accused the leadership of the “embarrassing” congress and said sister Gandhi does not have political experience.
If Amarinder Singh joined BJP, he will follow the Jyotiraditya Scindia, which was appointed as the Cabinet Minister in the Ministry of Modi, Jitin Prasada and the others such as Assam CM Himanta Buswa Sarma.
It will also come as a boost for BJP in Punjab where there is no allies after the Akali Dal running away during the three agricultural laws and voting is basically limited to the Urban Hindu population.
In addition, it will help in the accumulation of perceptions in supporting it nationally with a senior leader who joins them from the country, which has become the center of anti-agricultural legal agitation.
