Syed Ishaq builds a temporary structure for its library

MySuru: Only nine months since the library was preserved in an accidental fire, it looked as if the fire had done a little to put out the passion of Shed Ishaq, 64, had a book.

Isaq believes that the library is a spiritual equivalent of 100 places of worship, and adds that it has a plan to build another structure adjacent to existing ones.
“The new block will be exclusively for women,” Ishaq said, who was being helped by his son Aftab, Autodriver, in the Endeavor.
Former Gram Panchayat member for M Shettihalli Mahingappa was among Ishaq regular customers.
He has visited the library for eight years.
“Inspired by him, I tried to start the library in my village, but it didn’t work.
I’ll make sure I visited the Ishaq library every time I was in Mysuru City,” Mahingappa said.
The Director of the Public Library, Mysuru B Manjunatha said, “After the fire that destroyed the library, it was decided that the permanent structure would be built.
