Syed Modi International: PV Sindhu enters the final after the kosetskaya retires in the middle of the road

Lucknow: Olympic medal twice the Sindhu PV reaches a final single woman from Syed Modi International Tournament Badminton after the fifth seed against Russia Evgeniya Kosetskaya retired injured in their semifinals here on Saturday.
Sindhu, the top seed, easily pocketed the first game 21-11 before Kosetskaya conceded the second women’s singles semi-final match.
Former Sindhu world champion will face compatriot Malvika Bansod at Clash Summit on Sunday.
Malvika beat another India, Anupama Upadhyaya, 19-21, 21-19, 21-7 in a difficult three match contest.
It is expected to be an easy sightsee for Sindhu who runs, world rankings and head-to-head recordings.
The seventh ranked ranked BWF, Sindhu has defeated the world number 28 Kosetskaya twice before Saturday’s match, and Ace India once again came out above to extend its dominant record against Russia.
