Damascus: Syria said he would shoot down Israeli missiles when they approached the capital of Damascus on Friday, said it had replied “aggression” from the old enemy with its own air defense.
The state news agency there said Syria dropped most missiles, which was launched from the southeast region of Lebanon and the regions targeted near Damascus.
This does not provide further details, and there are no direct comments from Israel, who rarely talk about military operations in a war-hit country.
Israel has launched hundreds of strikes against Iran’s military targets in Syria for years but rarely recognize or discuss the operation.
