Dubai: India and Pakistan will lock the horn on October 24 at the upcoming T20 World Cup stage meeting, the International Cricket Council (ICC) was confirmed on Tuesday.
The T20 World Cup T20 Male 2021 in the UAE and Oman will take place from October 17, with the final to be played in Dubai on November 14.
The tournament will begin with a group B final meeting between the host Oman and Papua New Guinea in October 17, with Scotland and Bangladesh, another team in Group B, clashed in the night match.
Ireland, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and Namibia – Make Up Group A – will take action in Abu Dhabi the next day, round 1 match runs until October 22.
The top two teams in each group will continue to the Super 12 Tournament stage, starting on October 23.
The second round of the tournament – the Super12 stage – will take place in Abu Dhabi on October 23, with Group 1 contest between Australia and South Africa.
This will be followed up with night clashes between England and West Indies in Dubai.
Lama British rivals and Australia will lock horns in Dubai on October 30.
The Group will conclude on November 6 with a match between Australia and West Indies in Abu Dhabi, and Britain and South Africa in Sharjah.
Group 2 will begin with a heavyweight clash between India and Pakistan in Dubai on October 24.
Pakistan then took New Zealand in Sharjah on October 26, in a difficult start to champion.
Afghanistan began their campaign on October 25 in Sharjah, took Group B winners from the first round.
