Chennai: DMK has requested a center to display the bill on the first day of the upcoming winter session from parliament to formally revoke the laws of three agriculture.
The DMK issued a resolution in this case at a meeting of party lawmakers chaired by the Chief of the Constitutional Court of the Constitutional Court of MK Stalin in Chennai on Sunday.
“Make an announcement about the revocation of three agricultural laws into the law on the first day of the winter session,” the resolution urges the center.
The resolution remembers DMK’s old fight to get three laws drawn.
It was said by the chairman of Minister M K Stalin has opposed three laws from the beginning and has brought together party allies to protest against the law.
“The DMK approached the Supreme Court and obtained intimate stay at the implementation of three laws,” the resolution was added.
On December 5, the partymen held protests at all district headquarters while Stalin himself held a black flag protest.
Later, the DMK participated in all Indian protests announced by the Farmers’ Protest Committee and his days of DMK leaders along with 20 other parties from all countries met with the President of India and asked for legal revocation.
After assuming the office, the DMK issued a resolution in the State Assembly urged the center to revoke the law.
DMK also accumulates praise at the resilience of farmers who protested the law.
