Tableaux chose according to the norm, Rajnath wrote to Didi, Stalin

New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday wrote to the West Bengal Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tamil Nadu Motorpart MK Stalin, stressed that the decision to choose Tableaux for the Republic Day Parade in Delhi was taken according to detailed guidelines and urged them to participate in the event.
In the letter, Singh said about 29 proposals received from the state and the United States, 12 received.
“I want to pay attention to your good that there is a well-established system for Tableux selection to participate in the Republican Day Parade, in accordance with the Ministry of Defense which invites proposals for Tableaux from all states / UTS and the Central Department,” Defense Minister said.
Singh said Tableaux proposals received from various states / UTS and the Ministry / Ministry of the central departments were evaluated in a series of expert committee meetings consisting of leading people in the fields of art, culture, painting, etc.
“The expert committee examines the basic proposal for themes, concepts, designs and visual impacts before making its recommendations.
According to the time slot allocated to Tableaux in the overall duration of the parade, the selection of Tableaux is carried out by the Expert Committee,” he added.
Singh told Banerjee that Tableaux West Bengal was part of the 2016 Parade, 2017, 2017 and 2021.
He told Banerjee that the government celebrated the 2018 R-Day in honor of Subhas Chandra Bose and this year the celebration will begin on January 23, marking birthdays 125 Netaji.
To Stalin, Singh said Tableaux from the TN government was considered in the first three rounds of the meeting.
