Tadoba Tiger Death: Postmortem is not convincing

Chandrapur: The mystery continues to trouble the death of the male sub-adult tiger found dead in the Tamsi Forest in the core area of ​​Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) on Monday.
The veterinary team who did postmortem on Tuesday failed to get a conclusion about the cause of his death after a very decomposing carcass.

Vinod Ramteke conducted postmortem at the Transit Treatment Center (TTC), where the carcass was stored in overnight cold storage.
The Head of the Forest Conservator (CCF) and Director of Field TATR Jitendra Ramagaonkar said there were no shallow injury signs on the body and all parts of the body intact.
But postmortem remains not conclusive following a very decomposed body condition.
Viscera samples have been collected and sent to forensic laboratories for analysis and reports can explain the cause of death.
Ramagaonkar said the dead sub-adult tiger was the descendants of Tigress T31 and had two siblings.
Foresters have seen her sister in a camera trap, while preliminary surgery is taking place to track the brother.
Bunda Tigress is safe and goes in the area of ​​the Katejhari in the tiger reserve for the past few days, he added.
Fifty Camera Traps has been placed in this area to track the Third garbage TiGress T31, said Ramagaonkar.
Postmortem was carried out in the presence of Ramagaonkar, Deputy Director (Core) NV Kale, Dy Director (Buffer) G Guruprasad, ACF BC Yede, PCCF and Representative of the Tiger (NTCA) Bandu Dhotre and Mukesh Bhandakkar.
Then, the remnants of the tiger were burned in the TTC before the witnesses.
