Nagpur: Khali (T50), Tiger Men Agarian who dominated in the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) buffer zone gave up on his wounds at the Gorewada Rescue Center, outside the Katol road, on Monday morning.
With the death of Khali, Maharashtra has lost 26 tigers in the past six months.
The tiger was hit by an unknown vehicle in Padmapur-Agarzari Road on May 8, 2021.
It couldn’t walk because his back leg was really paralyzed.
It was arrested on May 10 and shifted to Gorewada where was undergoing treatment for two months.
This is the third case of tigers who were injured in a hit road in the last three months.
Of these three tigers, two have died while someone is still undergoing treatment at the Gorewada Rescue Center.
