Today, on the 72th Ace Cricketer birthday, Tahir said it was an honor for the essay of sensational batting guide for the big screen.
“I can’t wait for Sunil Gavascar to see 83 and watch my appearance in the film.
Great honor to play legends like him on the screen and I hope I have enough.
I am happy and nervous because I want to see his reaction while being next to him,” he said.
Deciphering further, he added, “Sunil Gavascar is not just an icon, he is an institution and action on my screen is great respect for everything he has done for our country and Indian cricket.”

Talking about iconic cricketer essays on the screen, Tahir told the news portal in an interview that even though he felt pressure, it was also challenging at the same time.
The actor added that before he received the part, he read his two biography and what really pulled it to that part was how he was a perfectionist throughout his life.
According to Tahir, it is a responsibility and the same time is challenging in terms of the aura name carrying with it.
