Thiruvananthapuram: A nature member of the tailor (Deed) said here on Monday that they will hold a hunger strike in front of the secretariat if the government fails to meet their needs.
But the organization canceled the strike planned on Wednesday morning because of Covid regulations.
Deed continued various demands, including workers’ welfare funds and other pension benefits.
The strike aims to solve problems such as discrimination.
Members show that a woman who receives a retirement of widows must make a submission that they do not need a widow pension if they have to receive tailor welfare pensions after the age of 60 years.
The association said that representatives of people receive double pensions and unfair to deny poor women adjust the same.
