Patna: CM Nitish Kumar in Jannata Darbar on Monday said the state government, if needed, will order an investigation into the department of alertness into financial irregularities in Bhabhua Nagar Parishad.
Previously, complaints from Bhabhu told CM about major financial irregularities in Bhabhua Nagar Parishad.
He said the investigation was ordered by Kaiur DM and the investigation officer submitted his report.
A copy of the report was also sent to the urban development and the housing department (UDHD), but was swept under the carpet at the secretariat.
CM requested a complainant to explain the problem before the Senior Udhd official sat there.
“They will take fast action,” he convinced him.
Nitish also stated surprised when a young man from the Gopalganj district complained that even though his village was connected with ‘Pucca’ Road, Tolias from the second caste family (SC) located nearby.
“How could it be?” Nitish asked the officials of the rural travel department.
He said when the command to connect all the ‘tolas’ of the SC family with Pucca Road had been issued, how Tangerang was abandoned.
He asked the department concerned to take quick action in this matter.
CM heard complaints of 143 people from various districts and provide instructions needed to the department officials concerned.
Complaints related to the Rural Development Department, Rural Work Department, Road Construction, Energy, PHP, Agriculture, Cooperatives, Water Resources and several other departments were heard in Janata Darbar.
