New Delhi: Twitter on Sunday clarified that it needed the steps needed to secure the Handle of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which was compromised immediately after becoming aware of this activity.
“We have 24×7 open communication lines with PM offices and our team takes important steps to secure a compromised account as soon as we are aware of this activity.
Our investigation has revealed that there are no other account signs now at this time.
“Twitter spokesman said today.
Prime Minister’s twitter handle Narendra Modi was “very briefly compromised” and was secured later after this problem was enhanced to the micro blogging site, the Prime Minister’s office (PMO) was informed on Sunday.
“The @Narendramodi’s Twitter handle is very compromised briefly.
The problem is increased to Twitter and the account has been immediately secured.
In a brief period that the account is compromised, every tweet distributed must be ignored,” PMO India tweeted.
This account has now been restored and evil tweets have been removed.
PM Modi has more than 73.4 million followers on the micro blogging site.
After the PM Modi account is compromised, #Hacked starts the trend in India.
In contrast to the screen distributed on Twitter by several users, Tweets filled with PM Modi accounts claim “India officially adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender”.
“India officially adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender.
The government has officially bought 500 BTC and distributes it to all the country’s residents,” read the tweets that are now removed.
Previously, on September 2020, a Twitter account, which updated private website and Prime Minister Narendra Modi application was hacked by an unknown group.
