KABUL: The Taliban has directed local officials to refrain from carrying out the public punishment except the problem of “top” Afghanistan issued orders for public execution.
The Ministership has decided that no penalties will be carried out in public when they do not need to publish prisoners and until the court issued an order, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a tweet.
“Public execution and bodies hanging must be avoided unless the Supreme Court issued an order for such actions,” Mujahid said quoted by the dawn newspaper.
