Taliban attracted international recognition; say China has a ‘big role’ to play

Beijing: Taliban has appealed to the international community to recognize it in the midst of growing hatred in and abroad, even when Afghan militant groups try to calm China, say Beijing can play “big roles” under their rule in disputes.
torn country.
Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said the international community must “respect the will of the people of Afghanistan” and officially recognize his group that has taken power in Kabul.
Stopping increased concerns over the Taliban that limit the freedom of women under his plan to impose sharia law as carried out during the previous government 20 years ago, Shaheen said on TV CGTN managed by the Chinese government that the new Taliban government in Kabul will protect women’s rights to education and work.
He also urged the international monetary organization to release funds to the new government.
Taliban, who shared close relations with Pakistan, has heated up to Beijing ahead of his last attack produced in seizing power in Kabul.
“China is a large country with a large economy and capacity.
They can play a big role in rebuilding, Afghanistan reconstruction,” Shaheen said.
“We have relations with China and Russia for the past few years.
We have told them that they should not have problems from Afghanistan,” he said.
“We see it with our interest not to allow anyone to use our land on our neighboring and regional countries.
It is important for us,” he said, amid rising skepticism, especially among women who faced conquest under the previous 20-year Taliban government Then with his efforts to impose strict sharia law.
“Also for Afghan reconstruction, we need help from all countries,” including neighbors and regions, the US and the whole world, Shaheen said.
The Taliban delegation, led by the Head of the Political Commission Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, who visited China last month during his conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi had promised not to allow the Uygur Muslim militant group from the East Turkistan Islamic Movement (ETIM) operating from Afghanistan.
China was worried that in accordance with the UN report recently, hundreds of militants belonging to Ethim were cilting in Afghanistan in the midst of military progress made by the Taliban.
After the Taliban seized power in the past few days, China has been striking what is called nuances of observer, calling for the group to avoid terrorism and form an inclusive Islamic government with all parties and ethnic groups.
The Taliban is currently in talks with former President Hameed Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah, who lead the high council for national reconciliation, to form what is called an inclusive government.
Asked about the despair of thousands of Afghans to avoid his government, which leads to the scene of chaos at Kabul Airport, Shaheen said that many were misled by rumors that showed that they would be able to settle in England or they were on a flight.
The progress of the Taliban in Afghanistan represents “People’s rebellion on the administration applied,” he said.
The speed of the group increase throughout the country legitimates the takeover of the national government, Shaheen said.
“This is not the election, but it shows people’s support,” Shaheen said in response to questions about justification for group claims to represent the will of Afghanistan.
He said the selection was a question for the future but he “won’t put aside” a poll.
He repeats the Taliban will allow women to continue their education and promise not to persecute those who work with foreign powers.
