LONDON: Taliban fighters have surrounded the city of Ghazni in Central Afghanistan, taking over a civilian house to fight security forces, officials said on Monday, the latest urban centers under threat from the rebels.
Clashes between the two parties also continued in the southern province of Kandahar, the local residents said.
