Taliban must recognize the basic human rights of every girl, woman: head of the United Nations

New York: UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Sunday urged the Taliban to recognize and uphold human rights owned by every girl and woman.
With Afghanistan “hung by thread” six months after the Taliban takeover, members of the international community have repeatedly raised concerns about the condition of deteriorating human rights in this country.
“In Afghanistan, women and women are once again rejected their rights to equivalent education, employment & justice.

Afghanistan struggled with drought, pandemic, economic collapse, and years of conflict years.
About 24 million people experience an inappropriate sense of acute.
The UN estimation says more than half the population will face hunger this winter and 97 percent of the population can fall below the poverty line this year.
The head of the United Nations on Wednesday said the world could not leave the state now – for the sake of its people and overall global security.
“At this time, we need a global community – and this council – to put their hands on progress, provide resources, and prevent Afghanistan prevent further,” Guterres said in his briefing to the UN Security Council in Afghanistan.
Guterres also describes the actions for the ruler of the de facto country, the Taliban, calls for fundamentalists to expand opportunities and security for Afghans, uphold human rights, and demonstrate a real commitment to become part of the international community.
Secretary General said Afghanistan had long been used as a platform for the political agenda, geopolitical advantage, ideological dominance, brutal conflict and terrorism.
