KABUL: a group of helicopters seen flying above the southern Afghanistan while the Yubilant Taliban members under the US military war when the Islamic group led them proudly.
United States troops left Afghanistan on Tuesday morning, marking the end of a chaotic and messy way out of the American longest war.
In the second largest city of Kandahar, a long line of green armored vehicles was driven in one file on Wednesday, with the group flag attached to it, Dawn reported city institutions.
Local media reports said several trucks from the US and NATO forces were paraded in the city of Ayno Maina, on the outskirts of the city.
Video recordings also appeared on social media that showed a US-made black Hawk helicopter that flew above the Kandahar Province, with someone looking hung under the rope.
Then on Tuesday, it was clarified that a pilot was reportedly flying a helicopter, and a Taliban member tried to put up the group flag.
Earlier this month, the White House said that they believed that the Taliban would not restore US weapons arrested from Afghan forces.
Last month, the US National Security Advisor (NSA) Jake Sullivan said that the Biden government believed that “a fair amount” of the US weapons given by Afghanistan was in the ownership of the Taliban, and the White House did not expect them to be returned to the US.
“We don’t have a complete, clear picture, where every article of defense material has been lost but of course, the fair amount has fallen into the hands of the Taliban, and obviously, we don’t have the feeling that they will easily submit it to us at the airport,” he added .
