Taliban rejected the UN report on foreign terror groups in Afghanistan

KABUL: The Taliban government in Afghanistan has rejected the UN report that claimed that foreign presence had increased in a torn country after the collapse of former government in August last year.
In a statement on Monday, the Taliban Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “The Afghan Islamic Emirates strongly rejected the recent report by the UNSC monitoring team stressed that the increase in foreign groups in Afghanistan.

The report also questioned the Taliban commitment with the Doha Agreement to prevent the threat of “international terrorists” from having a footing in Afghanistan and expressed concern that foreign groups might find a safe place in Afghanistan.
