KABUL: Taliban said that Russian investors have expressed their willingness to extract Afghan and gases when meeting the top leader of the country, reporting local media.
Russian investors met with Deputy Minister of Taliban Prime Minister Abdul Salaam Hanafi on Sunday and discussed a number of economic projects including refinement and excavation of gas and petroleum, reported Khaama Press citing Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid.
A spokesman also said that Hanafi was accompanied by Afghan traders and investors asking Russian investors in his office and discussing the establishment of a cement plant, separating LNG plants in addition to the refinement and extraction of oil and gas in the country.
Mujahid further told that Hanafi appreciated and welcomed the willingness of Russian investors to extract the country’s gas and oil, according to Khaama Press.
Taliban leaders also convinced investors to provide a conducive environment for further investment in this country.
Appeared when the Taliban faced pressure due to lack of funds in a number of sectors when they waited without free funds from global organizations and government recognition.
