Jerusalem: If everything you requested is in return for not littering, this is a trash can for you.
BIN installed next to the bus stop in Jerusalem this week clapped their hands who used it.
Drop a piece of garbage, and the child’s voice recording said, “Thank you very much!” This is part of the initiative by locals to clear the streets in the Pat environment in the city.
Jerusalem is known for a world-famous religious place that is sacred for Jews, Christians and Muslims.
But it is also a dense modern city of almost 1 million people, with traffic, holes and worldly garbage.
The trash can, which also appears in several European cities, is equipped with solar panels, sensors and devices that express appreciation in various sounds when whatever dropped.
“Our environment is dirty and and we want to make it difference,” Talya Tomer said, a local resident and street artist.
“We want to have a clean and clean streets that look good and fun to enter.” In accordance with Jewish Sabbath, a volunteer turns on the device every Friday at sunset.
The same trash can speak or make funny sounds have been deployed in London, Berlin and other cities to prevent garbage arbitrarily.
The Jerusalem Municipality offers support for such initiatives to improve the appearance of the city.
