New Delhi: Not only the Kishor political strategist, but also the former JNU President Kanhaiya Kumar can join the Congress Party earlier than later.
Both are believed to hold negotiations with the main opposition party to expel the problem before entering.
The source said negotiations between Kanhaiya Kumar, who had compiled for the Election of the Sabha 2019 on CPI tickets, had a parley with Congress leaders.
Date and modalities join the party have not been decided, the sources added.
Kanhaiya Kumar lost to the Union Minister Giriraj Singh from the constituency of Betimarai Bihar by a massive margin of more than 4.22 lakh sounds.
He had secured 22 percent of the votes while Giriraj Singh pocketed 56.5 percent of the noise that could not be resolved.
Congress believes that if Kumar joins the party, dramatic changes may occur in the opposition in the coming days.
The possibility is that the meeting between Kanhaiya Kumar and the leader of the Rahul Gandhi Congress can be arranged if everything goes well.
Next, he can join the party, said the source.
Kanhaiya Kumar has maintained a low profile since he lost to Giriraj Singh but now tends to launch fresh political innings in Congress.
According to the Ani news agency, the Top Congress source said that including Kanhaiya in Congress was under serious consideration at the top of the party, but had not been resolved how and when he would join.
Congress believes that joining can be significant when the party faces the leadership crisis without big faces to attract the masses.
Kumar is considered a crowd puller, especially among young people.
But the congress needs to consider how this will be seen by the Allies of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).
Besides Kanhaiya Kumar, talks for the strategic induction of the Prashant Kishor poll in Congress were also in the advanced stage.
There are indications that he can join as part of a special AICC panel if there are positive results from negotiations.
