Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Cabinet was led by Minister M K Stalin on Saturday met and gave approval for the financial incentive package for six industrial projects that would emerge throughout the state.
The meeting lasts more than one hour at the secretariat.
“In addition to these projects, memoranda understanding will be signed for projects worth more than ₹ 20,000 crore in front of CM during his visit to Coimbatore on Tuesday,” said a source.
Stalin will be on a two-day visit to Coimbatore, starting Monday, as part of the DMK outreach program in Western belt before general elections to urban local agencies.
Stalin was said to be interested in taking Mou’s ceremony from Chennai to other parts of the country, especially Coimbatore, given the potential of industrial growth in the region.
