Chennai: D Ranjith, a 27-year-old swinging candidate who is different from Coimbatore with hearing loss and speech, let his achievement speak on Friday by securing the 750th rank in his first test in his first attempt.
His mother, who did his bed in special education and taught him to read the lips, lost because of the words after the UPSC stated the results on Friday.
His son, a topper among the different students who wrote the exam in Tamil, is likely to get a coveted IAS.
“We are worried about his future.
But today all our worries have gone and we are happy and proud,” said Mrs.

Ranjith chose Tamil literature as an optional subject and wrote a test in Tamil.
“He will sit in the front row and read our lips while attending class,” K Sabarinathan, one of the trainers who trained in the current affairs, said.
Narayana Sarma V S from Coimbatore has ranked third in India and the State Topper appears.
This year, 36 students from Tamil Nadu have broken the exam.
Last year, candidate 45 TN succeeded.
