Tamil Nadu: CM, Officials spend hours in the field for assistance work

Spectacle Chief Minister M K Stalin, senior minister and IAS / IPS officers, with rolling arms and sports gloves and gum boots, visiting the flood environment and overseeing the aid steps have surprised residents.
R Gowri Shankar and Mahalakshmi from scrambles were initially worried if their marriage would take place at all on Monday due to rain.
But the incident became more memorable for the couple, when Stalin saw them on the road, blessing them directly and giving them cash prizes too.
While returning home after the wedding, the couple watched Stalin’s group at Kannadasa Nagar.
They waved, but didn’t expect him to stop.
What surprised them, Stalin asked the driver to turn the car.
He not only came down from the vehicle to bless the couple, but also gave them RS 1,000 each as a cash prize.
“He told me to take care of my wife well, and bless us.
I will frame this currency and will never use it.
I will never forget this incident in my life,” Shankar said.
HR & MINISTER CE PK Sekar Babu remembered how Stalin walked to the household of Nagar Sathya was the most ready to host his host.
“He sat there and asked about their complaints.
This attitude gives an example for all of us.
When the head of the minister himself traveled hundreds of kilometers, we did not feel like sitting at home at all,” he said.
Gagandeep Singh Bedi, Commissioner Corporation Chennai, said that only through a field visit certain problems can be resolved.
“Many officials and ministers worried stagnant water in T Nagar.
When we visited the place, we found there were two blockages in the mambalam canal.
When it was released, the water began to flow freely,” he said.
