Chennai: The Chair of the Minister M K Stalin is likely to hold his first annual conference with the district collectors and police supervisors in Chennai shortly, said the source.
The minister’s chairman has held a meeting with collectors through video conferencing about Covid-19 management.
Government sources say the proposed meeting is expected to take place in November and the department head has been asked to find the agenda for a session that can last two days.
“The department secretary has been intimidated but the date has not been completed.
The priority of the new government will be discussed and the implementation of superior programs, and various welfare steps will be accelerated, in addition to the law and order with the police,” said a source.
Former Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami held a conference with district collectors in 2019 in Chennai, and then held a meeting with the Head of Administration at the district headquarters in the middle of the Covid Pandemic last year.
